Eco Complete Carpet Plant
I ve grown jungle val and a few other low tech plants in my old aquarium only using gravel and ferts.
Eco complete carpet plant. This eco complete fish tank rock gravel comes in a range of large and small grain gravel sizes that makes for a porous foundation for plants which stimulates for healthy root growth and optimal bacterial efficiency. Actually i used eco complete to carpet hc. I m using eco complete in my 20long. When you inevitably want to switch plants around it s going to be a huge pain.
It establishes a natural biological balance which makes cycling a new aquarium faster and safer. Although it s often grown above the surface it is seen frequently underwater due to weight. It s out of control in a good way. Unlike most synthetic aquarium rocks caribsea eco complete contains a live heterotrophic bacteria which is beneficial for sustaining a healthy aquatic environment as it helps to convert organic waste into a natural plant food.
Could any one suggest an easy fast growing carpet plant for my tank i am using eco complete sub and i have about 2 wpg wiht co2 but the tank is quiet deep being a oska 260l i have failed with hc and at the moment im trying hair grass its been in there about 2 months now and it hasent rely done a lot the hair grass has started to grow runners how long will it take to carpet i am thicking of. I d recommended never capping w sand unless your using dirt. I m not sure about sand but the hc eventually had a good grip on the eco complete substrate. The first time you open the eco complete substrate bag you ll notice that the substrate is damp.
Some of these include magnesium iron potassium zinc aluminum sodium and many more. It holds small medium and tall plants well. I would suggest doing a dry start method because my hc kept floating away when i planted it in a filled tank and it was very frustrating. Outside of aquariums this plant is almost always found in nitrogen rich human inhabited locations.
Eco complete substrate just bought a 10 gallon tank and was wondering if i should use eco complete as a substrate for my planted tank. Eco complete has highly porous spherical grains for optimum diffusion performance and contains live heterotrophic bacteria to rapidly convert fish waste into natural food for your aquatic plants. My dwarf sag has carpeted the whole tank.
