Desperado is my all time favorite eagles record. The song writing on this album is also first rate and it shows just how talented the guys in this band would become. Every song on here is a winner and could have very easily been a radio hit in the early 70s. The beautiful thing about it is that although it is a unified set of songs it is not a rock opera a concept album or anything pretending to be much more than a set of good tunes that just happen to fit together.
