Dish Soap On Carpet Stains

Spray area liberally and let soak for 5 10 minutes and then proceed with blotting with a clean dry towel until stain is removed.

Let the water soak into the carpet and detergent stain to loosen dried detergent that is stuck onto the carpet fibers. Sprinkle with 1 4 cup of baking soda and rub this into the stain. Rub the mixture into the carpet and rinse sponge between applications. Start at the outside of the spot and work towards the center to prevent spreading the stain.
