Cricut Vinyl Will Not Release From Transfer Tape
This specially designed transfer tape is made for most vinyl types including premium vinyl patterned holographic holographic sparkle metallic matte metallic and many more.
Cricut vinyl will not release from transfer tape. Second roll same problem tried the carpet jean ideas and still will not release from cricut transfer tape. You create a decal but when you go to pick it up with the transfer tape the vinyl refuses to release from the backing paper. Snipping through the transfer tape between the pieces of vinyl allowed me to more easily curve the decal around the mug. Unfortunately it would not release the cut out letters when applied to the surface because it is extremely sticky.
Opened new roll cricut transfer tape stuck my vinyl to it and it will not release vinyl to anything thought it was a faulty roll and opened my second new roll. Purchased 2 rolls and cut out some inch vinyl letters and applied the transfer tape and it is very easy to align since it is clear. You create a decal but only some of the letters stick onto the transfer tape while the rest are left behind on the backing paper. Using scissors to clip through your transfer tape but not your vinyl can help you to avoid bubbles and folds.
Tried the other roll and it is the same extremely sticky. Your vinyl is not sticking to your transfer tape.
